The New Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre is a new state-of-the-art, integrated community hospital and regional cancer centre in Surrey, B.C.. The goal of the New Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre project is to be a “smart hospital”.
As one of the fastest growing cities in BC, New Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre will help to address the health care needs of the Surrey population by providing relief to the existing healthcare infrastructure by better aligning services with the most appropriate level of care required. Upon completion, New Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre will continue to evolve the system to a less acute model of care, leveraging priority focus on prevention, virtual technologies and integrated primary team-based care. In addition, New Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre will increase cancer care capacity to ensure timely access to care for patients and families in the region and delivering a multidisciplinary, multimodality tumor-based approach to cancer services.
